□ Canon point: Chapter 52
□ History: http://shingekinokyojin.wikia.com/wiki/Eren_Yeager
□ Personality:
"I'll purge this world of them... every single one of them."

Eren was never the type of person to make friends easily. He doesn't have a lot of patience for people, is notoriously hotheaded and tends to be pretty critical of those around him. He doesn't listen very well to the average authority (though he will listen to the Scouting Legion commanders and Armin most of the time) and he has his own ideas about what people in the world must do to save humanity. His morals are flimsy at best and he's stubborn about his goals of saving mankind and going beyond the wall with Armin to see the world. All of this combined lead to a child who only had two friends until his time in the military began. Even then, he didn't readily make bonds with the people there, mostly sticking to his trio until he slowly started to get along with the rest of the 104th.

Eren has a reputation of getting himself into trouble, even though he's grown from the days of starting almost daily fights with people as he did as a child. Hannes describes it to Mikasa and Armin as an 'old routine between them', where Eren gets himself into trouble with his rash decisions and quick fists and the two of them, being much more level headed, are left to rescue him from his predicament. Eren is a boy that runs on emotions, after all, and most of those emotions are somewhere within anger's range. His disregard for himself in these situations and his decision to go for the most dangerous job in the military has earned him the nickname 'suicidal bastard' among the 104th graduates.

"How did this come to be? Why do they rob from us? Our lives... even our dreams..."

He's got a lot of hate in him from the trauma of his childhood and the betrayals he's faced during his short life. He lost his mother to a titan at a young age. His father abandoned him and is possibly a big player in the pain humanity has faced. He's killed two men, saving Mikasa, and he's seen his best friend lose everything. Mankind, which he wanted to save, has turned its back on him, only ambivalently calling him their hope while simultaneously thinking of him as a monster. He's been swallowed, shot at, beaten and chained. He has a lot of reason for his rage, and he doesn't hold back with it when it gets sparked. While he's not about to walk out and commit another murder, he's not above having some seriously depraved thoughts about those who have truly hurt him and his friends. He goes as far to promise a slow and torturous death to Reiner and Bertholdt in the midst of his capture by them. Though his self-restraint has definitely grown while he's been in the military, his tongue is still quick with an insult if someone pisses him off, even when he's on his best behavior.

To Mikasa: "Knock it off! Mankind is on the verge of total destruction! Who said you could decide to do whatever's convenient for you?"

His critical nature has been with him since he was a child, directing it towards fellow children and adults alike. To him, those that are content to stay within the walls helplessly are akin to cattle. He'll call out anyone, without discrimination, when he doesn't like their behavior or thoughts. From starting fights with Jean to talking back to Mikasa for trying to coddle and talk down to him to shouting at the courtroom trying to determine his fate, he seems to often lack discretion when it comes to when he should shut his mouth. He may cherish human life as a whole, but he still has a nasty streak in him when dealing with people on an individual basis. To put it simply, Eren is too honest.

But despite all this, Eren is not outright mean to people. He's opinionated and can be harsh, not really one to hold back what he really thinks, but he's grown to be amicable or at least neutral when dealing with other people. He's intensely loyal to the people he considers friends and comrades, which is likely why the betrayals he faces hurt him so deeply and make him so incredibly furious. He's a serious boy, but it's not impossible for him to have fun. He enjoys his time with the friends he's made in the 104th, even admires those around them and notices their individual strengths as seen when he goes about asking for advice on mastering the 3DMG in the early days of their training. When he starts to waver, realizing how many people have died for his sake when he was kidnapped by Bert and Reiner, he turns to Jean's words for the fuel to rekindle his usual spirit, showing that he has grown up enough to think well of even his rival. He looks up to those he's met in the Scouting Legion, appreciating them despite thinking of them as 'freaks'. Levi, Hange, Erwin and Pixis seem to be the people he respects the most in the adult world, following their orders without protest and willingly assisting in Hange's experiments. He truly believes in them and appears to trust them completely.

"I... have a dream. To eliminate the Titans, leave the narrow confines of these walls, and explore the outside world."

Eren is also a dreamer, stemming from his friendship with Armin. Though their dreams are heretical in their world, they both anxious dream of the world outside the walls. They have both decided they will one day see the ocean together. This dream, though absolutely insurmountable by the standards of almost everyone else around them, is a driving force behind Eren. It keeps him focused forward and is even enough to draw him out of his daze when he loses control in his Titan form the second time he transforms. He believes that the world is something he deserves to see, as it is the world he was born into and thus he wants to see it all and experience what it means to be truly free. Being free is the number one most important thing to Eren. True freedom is what he strives for, putting all his efforts so mankind can finally escape its cage. For as grim as he can be, these lofty and passionate dreams are a foundation for the person Eren has grown to be.

"You have to fight! If you lose, you die. If you win, you live. If you don't fight you can't win!"

Eren's mark of strength, noted among his superiors, is his level of determination. He lacks all natural talent for the things required of soldiers in the military, but that determination and persistence is enough to earn him a fifth place seat in his graduating class. There are few things that can stop Eren. It's not that he's an optimist, really, so much as he is stubborn as hell and really believes in himself and the capabilities of mankind. He has the utmost confidence in his fellow man and their combined ability to defeat the titans and reclaim the world. There is nothing that can stop him, and though he can get caught up in despair when things get hopeless, he can still move forward. When Mikasa gives up and starts to thank him for everything he'd done for her, for wrapping her in his scarf as if saying goodbye, he stands up and tells her he'll wrap it as many times as he needs to. With nothing left in his arsenal, he proceeds to truly show his admirable fortitude as he starts to fight the Smiling Titan before them barehanded, in human form, as a last ditch effort to survive. A lack of concern for his life, after all, is not the same as wanting to die. It only means he has a reckless need to keep trying, so long as he is still breathing, even if it means he MIGHT die.
□ Age: 15
□ Gender: Male
□ Appearance: Eren has short, dark brown hair that reaches the top of his ears, green eyes and tan skin. Though he usually sports his military attire, his casual wear is something of an offshoot of peasant fashions in neutral and earth tones. He is lean, on the lanky side, at an average height for a European boy his age.
□ Abilities/Powers: Eren's only ability - though it is a big one - is his titan shifter ability. This allows him to transform into a titan, regenerate from most wounds, and control other titans.

When Eren Titan shifts his actual body does not transform. Instead, a titan essentially forms around him. His real body remains in the back of the neck, concealed by flesh. While his titan is usually huge (a ~15m class titan), he doesn't have full control or understanding of his transformation, which leads to some occasional half-transformations wherein he does not fully form a body. His lack of experience also leads to him going into a berserk mode at times when his emotions are truly out of control while transformed. While he cannot harden like two of the other titans, Eren's fighting abilities as a titan are on-par with his abilities as a human.

His regeneration abilities seem to have few limits outside of regenerating his head while he is a human, though we have yet to see him or any other titan shifter get torn apart as a human. As a titan, his regeneration abilities seem almost limitless, given enough time, so long as he is, once again, mostly in one piece. We have seen human Eren regenerate wounds, lost limbs and lost teeth, as well as the skin of his face. When he regenerates, a steam comes off of him, which is likely related to the heightened body heat experienced by titan shifters when their powers are involved.

There is little known about the ability to control titans, other than that it seems to involve verbal calls, is likely linked to emotional intent (at least, for Eren) and will call all the lesser titans in the area to act as the titan shifter wishes, even if it goes against their nature.

The only ability that will likely be reasonable for him to regain in Ariel is his regeneration abilities.

[ All that can be seen in the poster's view are his own set of hands, the floor, and the ends of his knees. His hands are red, raw, dripping with blood from sluggish chomps, as if they've been pulled from the jaws of dozing wolves. They quiver with pain, maybe anger, as their owner sits somewhere, clearly hunched by the way his arms rest along his legs.

Eren Jaeger is a normal human again and for that, he is not happy.

It's not so much that he was trying to disobey orders and transform without permission. He just wanted to see if he could. It's like a central priority for him now and with a sense of righteous and groggy fury and a focus on the idea I have to escape, he attempted once, twice... up to four times before giving in to the idea that they had done more to him than just put something in his head.

They had messed with his body, somehow, too, and that had only made him angrier.

But his anger is sluggish, heavy in his limbs that can barely curl their fists right now. He curses a few times before he can even speak, catching his tongue with his teeth as he attempts to speak his mind.

The beast is coming out of sedation and his rage can only boil slowly and fuzzily in his belly as he tries to keep his mind straight while he comes out of his fog. He's never been drugged before, not with whatever they happened to give him, so it'd hit him hard. ]

I don't know what's really going on here... but I'm not just going to sit around and play in another cage. If getting passed the people running this place is what it takes to get home to where I need to be, then I'll take every one of them out, mercilessly.

There's no way... I'll let them take me like that ever again!
