I don't think I could stay mad at you for very long. I mean, I didn't want to be alone either. Besides, it wasn't worth it being cross with one another.

Sometimes it was because of mom. I've always been good at staying mad, but you're right, it wasn't worth it.

She liked you a lot, though. Like, a hell of a lot. I think we would've taken you in, too, if something had happened before... you know.

I'm glad. I liked her a lot too...if it had ever come to that, I'd have been forever grateful to her. If my grandfather hadn't had his health, I'm not sure what I would've done if you hadn't been my friend.

I don't know. We spent so long eating whatever we could grab, I don't even know what I like anymore.

Then that means we ought to try as many new things as we possibly can, right?

That'll cost money. We're not making that much.

Well, I don't mean every day or Jean levels of frivolousness. More like...perhaps every week or so? We can try a new dish or treat.

You mean we should go out or eat together once a week? I'm alright with that. I haven't really gone to restaurants or anything.

Yeah. I think it's a good plan. I haven't either, in all honesty. It could be exciting.
