_{[Armin doesn't think much of Eren's manners - he's never really had much of them to begin with. Besides, when they're together there's no reason to be anything but themselves. They don't need to impress each other.

He does find himself blushing however, when Eren plants a kiss against his forehead. It's casual, sure, but it still leaves his cheeks hot. Just because they've been kissing doesn't mean a kiss outside of their makeout sessions doesn't leave his stomach feeling like there are moths inside it.]}

Ah, no I didn't. I was waiting. I did try a bit of the dough though, before they were baked.

[ Eren walks to the cabinets and roots for a glass before getting himself some water to get the sugary taste off his tongue before it settles too long. He walks back to the kitchen table, sitting down with a small slouch. ]

You should try them, then. You made them. They're yours.

_{[Eren he poured you a glass of milk for that you dummy.]}

They're not mine, I made them for you. _{[But, since he knows Eren'll nag-]} I'll try one though.

[ Milk is for squares!! Water is better for this job, okay? ]

They are yours. You baked them. You like sweet things more than me, anyway.

_{[He takes a cookie then, knowing that Eren was going to say exactly that, before snatching the glass of milk he poured. He dips it in the glass before taking a bite, smiling pleased at his own handiwork.]}

They're quite good. I'm glad you like them, in any case.

I didn't really know you liked to bake.

I don't mind it. When I was younger I used to bake bread for my grandfather and myself.

Oh yeah... I remember that. Your grandfather always sent you over with some, didn't he?

Yeah, he would. I remember your mother gave me black currants to bake in buns sometimes too.

I think she liked spoiling you to compensate for the times I was a shitty little brat. She was probably afraid I'd lose my only friend if she didn't interfere.

She spoiled me too much, I think. She didn't need to worry about you losing me as a friend, though. I mean, you were my only friend then. If we got in a row that we didn't get over we'd both have ended up friendless.

[ He laughs just a little. ]

We were pretty stuck. I think when I fucked up, I was scared out of my mind because I thought I would lose you.

I mean, I hated all those other dipshits. I didn't want to be alone, but it'd be better than dealing with any of them as a substitute, really.

I don't think I could stay mad at you for very long. I mean, I didn't want to be alone either. Besides, it wasn't worth it being cross with one another.

_{[And there's a bit of a cheeky grin there.]}

You'd always come and apologize, whether that was your mother's doing or not.

[ He scratched his nose, almost looking sheepish. ]

Sometimes it was because of mom. I've always been good at staying mad, but you're right, it wasn't worth it.

She liked you a lot, though. Like, a hell of a lot. I think we would've taken you in, too, if something had happened before... you know.

I'm glad. I liked her a lot too...if it had ever come to that, I'd have been forever grateful to her. If my grandfather hadn't had his health, I'm not sure what I would've done if you hadn't been my friend.

I think I would've had a rather pathetic existence.

I don't think so. You might have gone pretty far without me, if not for the bullies.
